NOTE: Use this letter to notify the three major credit bureaus that you do not want personal information about you shared for promotional purposes. This letter will stop unsolicited mail and telemarketing calls.  Remember to send proof of current address and previous (where available), proof of social security number, and remember to send all correspondence via certified mail.
